Ambre boasts a massive list of complimentary activities for guests. The resort has floodlit tennis courts, offers croquet and table tennis, but it's the beach that takes centre stage in the line-up. Here you can take part in yoga and Tai Chi classes, and join other guests in beach volleyball, beach soccer or beach tennis. The crystal-clear lagoon adds to variety and guests can take to the water in paddle boards, hobby cats, go windsurfing, snorkelling, stand-up paddle, laser sailing or enjoy a glass bottom boat ride. Back on shore aqua gym classes are hosted in one of the two stunning pools on the property. For the more adventurous there is more on tap, and big-game fishing, scuba diving, water-skiing, banana boat rides and giant catamaran outings are available on request.
Indigo is Ambre's main restaurant, and here guests can choose from a broad range of breakfast options. From pastries to fresh fruit, and hot breakfasts prepared on demand at cooking stations, Indigo ensures a tasty start to your day. Buffet lunches and dinners are also available, with an emphasis placed on Indian, Chinese and local Mauritian cuisine. Dolce Vita is an a la carte restaurant overlooking the beach. From fresh, tasty starters to decadent desserts, Dolce Vita serves up wholesome and satisfying treats with Italian flair. La Plage is set on the beach and offers diners the chance to feel the sand between their toes as the restaurant serves up Mediterranean favourites and Mauritian specialities. Two bars on-site add to the variety. At Coral Bar, you can soak up the sun while enjoying a perfectly mixed cocktail and is also the place to enjoy the sounds of local bands at night. H&H Lounge serves as a sports bar and serves up music-filled evenings. Karaoke anyone?
