There is enough to keep the entire family occupied at Long Beach Resort, and with babysitters available as well as clubs for young children and teenagers, adults can make full use of the gym, library, yoga classes, spa, hammam, or lounge around the gorgeous pools. There are daily entertainment shows, weekly folklore shows and a nightclub at the resort to keep you occupied after the sun goes down. For early risers, a variety of free land and water-based sport are available on tap. This includes tennis courts, glass bottom boat rides, snorkelling, windsurfing and a climbing wall on site. Avid golfers receive privileged access to Anahita and Ile aux Cerfs Golf Clubs with shuttle and boat transfers available. For an extra fee guests can also enjoy big game fishing, scuba diving with the PADI certified dive centre or try their hands at archery.
Long Beach is an all-suite resort, and every room at Long Beach enjoys close access the stunning stretch of beach, garden or pool. All feature a private balcony or terrace. Sleek and stylish furniture, natural mid-toned colours, air and light enhance the spaciousness of the lavish interiors and set an intimate and restful ambience. Guests can choose between junior suites, family suites and executive suites. Junior suites are over 50 square meters and available in four categories: pool access, sea view, beach access, and beachfront. Family suites are larger and provide kids with their own area with sofa beds and a second bathroom. Executive suites offer a lounge area, guest toilet and beachfront location.
When it comes to dining guests are spoilt for choice. Le Marche is a buffet-style restaurant serving up a delicious breakfast and international themes dinners at night. A la carte restaurants serve up Italian flavours at Sapori, Japanese cuisine and sushi at Hasu, Sichuan style Chinese food at Chopsticks and beachfront restaurant Tides serves up seafood fresh from the ocean and traditional Mauritian cuisine. Shores bar is open all day, and Tides Pool Bar is open every evening from 18:30.
