The setting on the picturesque Flic and Flac beach, fringed by vivid green palm trees and the crystal clear, and almost lukewarm water, of the Atlantic, is enough to mesmerise and entertain guests on its own. We won’t blame you if this is where you spend much of your time, cocktail in hand. With its location on the sunset coast, the beach is the ideal spot to enjoy the Island's stunning sunset.

The resort capitalises on excellent facilities and its location near a lagoon and coral reef to offer guests a huge range of activities. It has two large pools on site which are ideal for water polo and volleyball, a fully fitted fitness centre, tennis courts and offers free access to Ile aux Cerfs Golf Course. Avid golfers can also take advantage of shuttle services to the Tamarin Golf Coourse. Guests can indulge in a range of complimentary water sport on the lagoon such as kayaking, windsurfing, snorkelling or go on a glass bottom boat cruise. For an additional fee, the more adventurous can also indulge in water skiing, big-game fishing, parasailing or opt to go for a full day catamaran cruise. The resort has kids and teen clubs to ensure that all the family is entertained all day. But the fun continues straight into the night entertainment and shows every evening to keep night owls going until the early hours.
Guests are spoilt for choice with the number of restaurants and bars on site. Mon Plaisir Restaurant is situated at the heart of the hotel and is the main restaurant for dinner and breakfast. Located on the beachfront, Tides specialises in seafood and serves up the catch of the day during lunch and dinner every day. Citronella’s Café, La Brasserie and Gov Flowers add variety with a la carte menus that serve up Italian, French and traditional colonial fair to tempt guests’ palates further. The resort boasts 5 bars, each providing a unique setting, character, entertainment options and drinks menu.
Sugar Beach Resort offers several different room types. Most suites are in the Manor House, the main accommodation building at the resort. Here guests can choose from either garden facing or sea view rooms with the option available to configure these as family suites. Beachfront suites are also available, but the most indulgent choice at the resort is, however, the creole style villa houses. Two types of villas are on offer. Sea-facing villas provide a spectacular view of the gardens and ocean, and beach-front villas boast the beach right on their doorstep.
